CHORLEYWOOD & RICKMANSWORTH
The CVBA is supporting riders in the Chorleywood and Rickmansworth areas too, as they seek to improve their own off- and on-road riding experience. As its major Millenium Project, the CVBA built the 'Metro Track' alongside the Metropolitan Railway beween Chorleywood and Chalfont & Latimer stations. This forms a vital link between two bridleways and helps to complete a circular ride whcih avoids riding along the A404.
The Metro Track can be ridden from north of the Chess Valley and a route is suggested below.
The CVBA has also worked hard to maintain rider access to Chorleywood Common, and other activities in the Chorleywood and Rickmansworth areas are being undertaken. Chiltern Society Map 28 covers this area.
