Following the message below, the Little Westwood permissive track has now been closed by the Landowner due to numerous abusive riders over the last few weeks.
New Hall Farm is still open as a licenced track, and so please join the CVBA to gain a licence for this safe off road riding facility. See our Membership Page for details.
Please do not trespass on the fields towards Little Westwood, as the landowner has seen numerous riders who have been doing just that.
The walkers stick to the footpath and we should stick to the track by the filed not in it !!
If this persists he will have no option but to withdraw the facility – You have been warned
Jasmine Safety Track Trust: Memorial Track at Bucks Hill
We are sorry to announce that the JSTT has now been disbanded. However, as you will see on the JSTT page, the Memorial Track is in the process of being adopted by Herts County Council. Memorial Plaques will still be available via the CVBA - contact via the report form here.
Membership forms are now available for the next year's membership. This remains the same format and charge as last year.
New Year Ride
Sadly we are unable to hold our New Year Ride in January 2021, due to Covid-19 precautions in our area. It is hoped that when conditions allow we can resume social events and rides.

CVBA Membership - form updated here. Please contact our membership secretary by email if you have a query.
See above for a video shared by one of our Committee members riding on the Memorial Track as discussed below - this should help you recognise it. Please let the Committee know if you regularly ride the track as requested below. There are also surveys out to as many yards as possible to give us a firm idea of how many people use this track to avoid the busy roads around it.
THE MEMORIAL TRACK BUCKS HILL

A committee member will also be visiting yards/stables in the area of the Memorial Track with a survey. A copy of the Survey is attached - you can complete it and return to our Chairman as an email attachment.

Message from BHS Herts
We're looking for people who used to ride from Moor Lane Sarratt to Holloway Lane Chenies before the ford was blocked by a gate. If you (or someone you know) used to use this route on horseback or bicycle, please get in touch so we can get this route recorded as a bridleway or restricted byway. Phil Wadey
If you can provide some evidence of this please send a message via our reporting page and the Committee will contact BHS and Phil Wadey.

This track, running from the Narrows is temporarily closed whilst the surface is investigated by the authorities. The other Horse Tracks are still open. The British Horse Society is now taking an active interest in the cases and the surface.
An interesting blog has been published regarding keeping bridleways open - 'Do you like riding on the roads?' - you can read it here. If you have any views on this feel free to use our contact page to raise a comment.
There is a separate Gallery now for CVBA Event photographs.
